The Most Overlooked Part of Surgery
3,000 hours, from consultation through recovery

Surgery is one continuous journey, not a single event. Of the roughly 3,000 hours it spans, just one is spent in the operating room. The other 2,999 belong to preparation and, most of all, recovery. That is the stretch Kinomatic is built to support.

Before surgery Custom Surgical Planning The weeks of preparation that set the plan.
After surgery Concierge Guided Recovery Weeks to months of rebuilding strength. This is where most of the 3,000 hours are actually spent, and where Kinomatic stays with you.

Common Questions

The questions patients ask most.

Kinomatic is custom surgical planning. A team of engineers builds a 3D model of your exact joint from your scan. Your surgeon practices the surgery in it first. And a care team stays with you through recovery.

No. Kinomatic is not a robot, but many of our surgeons use our custom 3D plans during robotic-led surgery. With Kinomatic, your surgeon does the surgery, with the tools they trust.

Insurance does not cover custom planning, because it goes well beyond the standard surgery. You can often pay with HSA or FSA money, and we offer payment plans and financing through our partners. When you connect with a surgeon's practice, they can walk you through the cost for your case.
